It is built from sturdy aluminium and is attached by undoing the allen key bolt, placing on the rail area you wish to use and then doing the bolt back up. With the plate adapter attached you can easily attach a 1, 2 or 3 point sling to your weapon or perhaps another item you wish to attach to your weapon. The adapter can withstand a lot of strain and is low profile so when attached it won’t interfere with your other attachments.
