Specna Arms are really not great at naming  their products this very snappy titled SA-B16 is a Mk12 Mod0 SPR in anybody's else's world.

If you are a fan of action / war films you will have seen the Mk12 in many films but the main one is in Lone Survior, which Mark Walberg played the part of Marcus Luttrell.

The SA-B16 is made predominantly of an homogenous alloy of zinc and aluminum with the use of steel elements in the most neuralgic points of the replica ( the screws, the pins and the tactical sling attachment points are made of steel ).

The full size solid stock has enough space to hold the biggest of batteries, giving you longer game time without having to spend time swapping batteries.

The pistol grip and stock are made of polymer plastic. The body, the RIS rail set were a subject to the process of anodizing what guaranties a high level of protecting the AEG against corrosion. The lower receiver has USMC markings.
Theis AEG is well built and both parts of the receiver fit very well – in a way that it was previously only seen in the G&P or Classic Army. It is also perfectly balanced. This ensures a perfect maneuverability while playing.
The gearbox uses a quick main spring exchange system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for a quick and fluent adaptation of the replica’s power to the conditions of the battlefield without the need of having access to a workshop or a number of specialist tools – when you take the gearbox out the replica’s body, the process of exchanging the main spring takes literally seconds.
The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overestimate. In the light of the laws existing in Europe and which limit the muzzle velocity of the replica and the establishments inside the airsoft society, this system guaranties the user great possibilities and more liberty. The Enter & Convert™ system allows to change the main spring in little amount of time, and, what is followed by this, adapted the muzzle velocity of the AEG  to the site FPS limit.
The gearbox is capable and ready for LiPo and LiFe type batteries.

An upgrade spring is included which will push the FPS once installed into DMR territory, the standard Spring fitted bring the FPS into a site friendly limits allowing the SPR to keep its full auto firing capacity

The gearbox which is reinforced on the height of the cylinder’s head hides a steel main spring guide which is the element of the Enter & Convert™ system and also 8mm ball bearings and steel thread-wheels which are placed on spacers. The system is secured with the use of four anti-reversal steps, a polycarbonate piston is equipped with a steel tooth in order to increase its durability. There is a type 2 cylinder and the steel breaker and a metal hop-up chamber installed.

It is equipped with a top 22mm RIS rail, a set of front 22mm RIS rails and an adjustable stock. The top RIS rail holds the flip-up type iron aiming sights which can be easily detached and replaced with any optical-electronic aiming devices.

The default muzzle flash-hider is placed on a 14mm counter-clockwise thread what allows the attachment of a sound suppressor in its place.
In order to increase the realism level, its equipped with a functional bolt catch lever.
