Infrared Imaging
The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular features a combination of R-contact optics and a CF-super image intensifier tube to provide high edge-to-edge resolution and geometric image precision. The difference in resolution between the centre and periphery of the field-of-view does not exceed 20%. The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular has a FOV (HxV) of 36° x 65° at 100m.
The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular features a five-lens eyepiece designed to improve image sharpness and contrast, as well as minimise distortion throughout the field-of-view. Additionally, the Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular features an energy-conserving, wide-angled IR illuminator for map reading and short distance illumination in areas with low light.
Ergonomic Design
The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular’s body is constructed from metal and carbon-filled plastic ensuring that it is suitable for use in extreme conditions as it is resistant to impacts, moisture and dust.
Furthermore, the Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular’s eyecup ensures that the IR scope can be used comfortably over a prolonged period of time whilst preventing light from escaping the monocular for improved concealment.
The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular also features a simple operating system for ease-of-use in the field. One switch allows the user to activate the night vision imaging scope and turn on the IR illuminator.
It is possible to attach additional IR torches and similar accessories to the Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular using its weaver rail, allowing the user to adapt the IR scope to suit his/her application and/or preferences.
Head Mount
The Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular can be used in conjunction with an OPTIONAL Pulsar Compact Head Mount (NOT included) to enable hands-free NV viewing. The Pulsar Compact Head Mount is ideal for trekking to and from hunting positions, surveillance applications, and night hiking, as well as military-inspired games, as its stable and ergonomic design with a close suspension point keeps the Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular in place during rapid movement and reduces the overall load placed on the neck. Moreover, the design of the Pulsar Compact Head Mount ensures that the Pulsar Challenger GS 1x20 Night Vision Monocular is placed exactly in front of the user’s eyes.
