Based on the M1928 Thompson, also known as the Chicago Typewriter for the distinctive sound it made while being fired,it sounded like a typewriter in the distance
This Tommy gun is close to the M1928 having the correct Cutts style compensator a flutted barrel and the forward grip matching the stock in faux wood.
The two elements that dont make this a true M1928 are the location of the bolt which should be on the top of the recivier and the sights which are off the M1A1, saying that to get a true M1928 you will be at about 4 times the price of this beast.
