Double Bell - SC02 Scar H
The SCAR-L's big brother, the SCAR-H was conceived as a part of the SCAR program as the "Heavy" model of the SCAR rifle platform, chambered in the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge and originally intended to be available in 7.62x39mm (the AK47's cartridge) and 6.8x43 Remington SPC, though the latter two calibres were dropped in the early development stage.
The acronym "SCAR" stands for Special forces Capable Assault Rifle, and with the wealth of enhanced features the SCAR platform has to offer, you better believe it is! The layout of the SCAR-H is identical to the SCAR-L, providing familiar standardized enhanced controls based on the M4/AR15 platform to aid shooter training. The rifle was intended to provide a DMR option for Special Forces units but has also been sighted in CQB configurations, used for direct action where the additional stopping power of the 7.62mm round is needed.
