This set of dummy ballistic plates are 32cm x 25cm x 2.5cm, made from a lightweight Polymer and are realistically sized to be compatible with most plate carriers. The benefit of a ballistic plate in your rig is mainly structural support. If you have quite a flimsy rig then a plate insert will help hold the carrier stiff and make inserting/removing magazines much easier. The other benefit of mock ballistic plates is the protection from impacts they provide, and the much more audible 'whack' that you'll hear when a BB hits them - meaning less pain and less accusations of non-hit taking for you!
